Aydınlı Group

Aydınlı Group’s foundations were laid in 1965 with the establishment of the Kavurmacı Kardeşler Collective and the launch of the first shop in Istanbul Fatih with the name “Aydınlı Yerli Mallar.”

The ’70s were years in which growth speeded up with the emergence of multi-storey stores, the wholesale of menswear and womenswear products under Aydınlı brand, the establishment of the first workshop and 200 dealer shops .

In 1989, AYDINLI HAZIR GİYİM SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. was founded and the production plant equipped with the most advanced technological facilities of the day started operations in 1990.

The ’90s were a turning point in the group’s history in terms of international agreements. Growth gains momentum through agreements signed with Pierre Cardin in 1993, Cacharel in 1995 and U.S. POLO ASSN. in 1997.

The 2000s were years in which the Group carried its success from Turkey to the international arena to become the sole arbiter in the region for the brands it represents, as well as starting its retail venture in Turkey and abroad.

When we look to the present, Aydınlı Group is one of the largest ready-to-wear retailers not only in Turkey but in the close geography as well, with a total of 461 stores, 276 of them being in Turkey; and over 3500 employees.

Operating also in construction sector, Aydınlı Group achieved a first in Turkey with the Solarkent project which produces electricity using solar energy. Reinforcing its position in this sector with Koru Florya project and introducing a different perspective to the housing sector with Vadi İstanbul, Aydınlı Group continues to add value to the national economy invest in new projects in textile, ready-to-wear retailing and construction sectors.

PIERRE CARDIN

The first brand that joined the group in 1993, Pierre Cardin is a ready-to-wear brand whose foundations were laid in France in 1950.
